If your loved one or family is facing the challenge of Alzheimer's disease you are not alone. St. John's Home offers a range of dementia care services in three new 25-resident Alzheimer's / Dementia neighborhoods in Rochester, New York. These enriched treatment programs are staffed with experienced, professional caregivers with special training in dementia care. Our professional mental health team includes psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse specialists, social workers, in addition to the Home's caregiving staff.

In addition to the special care neighborhoods, St. John's Home provides dementia care services for residents throughout the Home. Safeguards at all entrances and exits, and two enclosed outdoor courtyards provide a safe haven for exercise and outdoor activities. Our secure, enriched environments filled with art, music, visiting pets, plants, and activities are designed for residents coping with confusion or dementia. Support groups and counseling for families is also available. Most importantly, St. John's Home offers a warm and comfortable environment, staffed with caring professionals who work together to provide individualized care for each Alzheimer's resident.
