St. John's Comfort Care focuses on quality of life, dignity and choice for your loved one.

Since 1972, the St. John's Comfort Care Program has provided compassionate care and support for residents and families during the final stages of life. At St. John's Home, care focuses on maintaining comfort during the final months of life. Here, our interdisciplinary team specializes in pain management and hospice care. The 25-bed Comfort Care unit offers quiet private and semi-private rooms for your loved one.

St. John's Hospice Care
Comfort Care's hospice philosophy emphasizes quality of life and controlling pain and symptoms. Advance directives, such as living wills and health care proxy forms are encouraged. Nursing, medical, social work and pastoral care staff work with residents and families to meet emotional as well as physical comfort needs. Our specially trained staff provides counseling and locates resources to meet the social, personal, financial, and emotional needs of families and residents.

In Comfort Care, our approach is "high touch" rather than hi-tech. Services may qualify for Medicaid, Medicare and other insurance coverage.
